In stark contrast to the roar of Cumberland Falls, deep in the woods is the peaceful Eagle Creek. Eagle Creek ends with Eagle Falls, then joins the Cumberland River. This picture is taken just upstream from Eagle Falls. Eagle Creek is a shallow creek with a rock bed covered with only a dust layer of silt.
